Structural Integrity Engineering (SIE) Pty Ltd is a wholly Australian owned, specialised structural engineering Consultancy.  The Company business objective is to serve the niche market of life extension of deteriorating assets for mining and heavy industrial companies, construction companies and port authorities.  The approach is risk based that allows economic decision-making by the Owners.

SIE has a technical workforce of only Structural Engineers, which allows Company focus for our clients and provides the internal review and checking mechanisms required on critical structural projects.  The Principal Structural Engineer, Mr. Peter de San Miguel has 36 years experience in the mining, oil and gas and heavy industries, and is ably supported by other Engineers ranging in experience from 2 to 10 years.

SIE has extensive experience with bulk material handling machinery, conducting dedicated risk management inspections on over 50 machines in the last six years, including shiploaders, stackers and reclaimers.  Our two Directors are both technically active.

In addition to the inspections, design of remedial works, analysis and design checking, weighing and risk review activities are performed.  This has included exercises as simple as site sketches, through to advanced analysis and design, plus the site supervision of installation of the remedial works.
